Dreaming that you are shaving may suggest that you are making a minor life-changing decision. Some aspect of your daily routine is being altered. It also may symbolize removing unwanted parts of your persona, or unwanted attitudes you possess.

Thanks for responding, Jerry. I did already arrive at the meaning that this symbolism held for me.. it fell into the category of removing unwanted parts of my persona.. pointing to actions taken on my part as a child. In the recent dream, I saw myself shaving my breasts. There was no hair on the breasts and no more visual content to the dream other than seeing myself with a razor, very purposefully, even artfully, shaving my breasts. Upon awakening and remembering the image, I immediately felt how dearly I missed this part of myself.. that there would be a joining together of a part of me long laid aside. The emotional content of the event in my young life did come soon after the dream and had to do with my disowning feminine aspects of myself due to an abusive childhood and a mother that I saw as unable to protect and nurture her children. Very revealing and very healing (reconnective) for me.

Thanks for your site pages, Jerry. I spend quite a bit of time there and the information contained has been very beneficial for me.. as my dream life has been chalk full of archetypal impressions/energy calling my attention for healing and wholeness.. and my working more closely with them now is a truly wonderful process.
